This Is A Surprise?

Well, you knew it had to happen; well if you're a regular reader. One expects this situation to metastasize as we move into 'flu season', which is 99.44% certain to be 'the autumn of our discontent, Covid division'.

A school district outside Buffalo, New York, has delayed the start of online-only learning programs for grades 5-12 because of mass staff resignations and leaves of absence, the superintendent announced on Friday.

In a letter to families, Williamsville Central School District Superintendent Scott Martzloff said 90 staff members have taken a leave of absence due to Covid-19 and 111 staff members resigned.

Should any regular wage earner, and that includes both teachers and meat plant workers, be required to risk serious disease and even death just to make a buck? They're not infantrymen, voluntary ("knew what he signed up for" -- Batshit J. Moron/2017) or drafted.
