In a time of SSD, multi-core/processor, two terabyte memory and Optane App Direct Mode machines, there is no reason not to build from BCNF data. Time to do what Dr. Codd demonstrated. Technology has finally caught up with the maths.

And What About Candy Land?

Just when you thought things couldn't get any stupider, candy is now trademarked. I don't play the game, so I suppose I don't care, but come on?

Developers have not been too happy about the news - especially given that Candy Crush Saga is itself essentially a finessed version of the decade-old game Bejeweled - but with the game producing so much money for its developers and for Apple it's likely that the 'candy' trademark will be enforced enthusiastically from now on.
